Summary
LuxRiot can be configured to store archive data on a network drive, for instance, on a Network-attached storage (NAS). By default LuxRiot uses local hard drives for archive storage, which are listed under recording properties. An UNC (Universal Naming Convention) path to external storage is to be added manually:
First of all, you need to create custom layouts by selecting layouts, choosing appropriate cameras to display and selecting “Save Current Layout…” menu item.
Right click on Layouts->”Layout Sequences”, select “Manage Layout Sequences…” and create a new layout sequence by assigning layouts and time to display them.
Select “Activate Layout Sequence” on Layouts->”Layout Sequences”->”Layout Sequence 1″.
Using Digital PTZ
To use Digital PTZ (DPTZ) you have to enable it by right clicking on camera and selecting “Digital Pan-Tilt-Zoom”->Enable. A new DPTZ icon will be shown under the frame. More info how to use Digital PTZ feature could be obtained from here.
