Michael,

Has there been any progress made on this? I still have the same issue.

Yes, we have an update for this since quite some time ago. I believe that versions 1.7.x have this fixed. I will have this additionally checked.

We use Luxriot to monitor three separate locations. Any updates on motion event triggers? I’d really love to be able to have Luxriot send an SMTP email with a snapshot to a designated address when motion is detected (for cheaper cameras that don’t support this natively).

Thank you for your feedback. We definitely have this on our roadmap, however as well as many other requests and there is no estimated time of availability for email notifications at the moment.

We added support for hardware motion for ACTi and Axis devices. A few more vendor products are currently in consideration (most likely one of the coming is Vivotek).

In February you only supported hardware motion detection with StarDot, Arecont and Vision camera's. Have other brands been added to the list since then?

Also, I have a couple of Linudix LWJ-530SF that do very accurate hardware motion detection. I have more false positives in software motion detection, so I would love to use the hardware motion detection from my Linudix camera's in Luxriot. Are there any plans to support that? (I can give you access to a camera if you like.)
