Summary
LuxRiot and LuxRiot Light license keys are not interchangeable, a proper license key should be registered with either of the LuxRiot editions.
Description
Although it is impossible to install LuxRiot on top of already installed LuxRiot Light and vice versa, under certain circumstances a wrong license key may appear to be active, in which case LuxRiot will disable existing cameras and notify on wrong license. To resolve the conflict, it is required to re-start product activation wizard from Start Menu (Programs, LuxRiot… section, Product Registration and License Upgrade Wizard shortcut).
Symptoms
Luxriot suddenly switched back to the shareware mode, i.e. all the cameras but one became disabled, disabled remote connectivity and limited recording.
Description
During activation process Luxriot Server software attaches itself to the computer using its unique MAC address of the Network Adapter. If for some reason you have removed or disabled network adapter which has been used to activate Luxriot Server, than Luxriot would switch back to the shareware mode.
Solution
During LuxRiot activaion process make sure that only network adapter intended to be used with the system is installed and active. In case that activation has already been made with the wrong network adapter please make a Problem Report, as described in http://blog.luxriot.com/70
