HOWTO: Update ProVideo PV-143P board driver

The article explains how to update ProVideo PV-143P board driver.

Instructions

Download new driver files from http://luxriot.com/…/ProVideo_PV-143P_Driver_2.0.1.0.zip and extract the archive on your machine. Stop all LuxRiot applications and services before update.
Open device management console right-clicking My Computer on desktop and choosing Manage item (alternatively,you can run devmgmt.msc from command line). In the device tree find “BT878, WDM Video Capture” or “BT878, WDM Video Capture 0” entry which corresponds to PV-143P board installed (first board, if you have more than one installed). Right-click the entry and choose “Update Driver…“menu item:

Pass the wizard as shown on screenshots below:

Click “Have Disk…” button to specify location of downloaded driver files:

Provide folder name you extracted downloaded archive to and click OK button:

Click Next button to proceed. Since the driver does not have a digital signature, a window will appear to confirm installation. Click “Continue Anyway” button.

Click wizard’s Finish button to compete installation. Operating system may prompt you to reboot the machine in order for the changes to have effect.
