HOWTO: Submit a problem report

The information applies to:

  • LuxRiot 1.1.x

Summary

The best method to submit feedback of any kind (especially bug, compatibility issue etc.) to LuxRiot technical support is to create a Problem Report using LuxRiot Problem Report Wizard. The wizard creates a report, attaches hardware configuration details, past software execution logs and other relevant information, connects to LuxRiot website and sends the information.

Instructions

Start Problem Report Wizard from Start Menu as shown below:

A wizard window will appear as shown below and at the very least the user needs to press Next button as many times as required to reach the final page.

There first page after Introduction page provides fields to enter contact information and description. It is strongly recommended to fill out these fields.

Provided Internet connection (HTTP access to LuxRiot website), the wizard will send the report automatically and the final page will inform on successfull sumbission:

Press Finish button to close the wizard window.
