What’s new in this release?
- New: Utilization of Arecont cameras built-in motion detection (faster data processing without CPU load for software analysis; avoid video compression effect on motion detection)
- New: Camera Layout Mapping and Google Mapsâ„¢ integration
- New: Added support for Arecont cameras moonlight mode
- Fixed: Software motion detector could indicate wrong motion area (typically shifted to the right with high resolution video)
- Fixed: Server list of cameras might not get updated until server restart when new camera was added or removed
- Fixed: Server watchdog might fail to re-restart server under worse system performance conditions
- Fixed: Improved operation of Toshiba IK-WB15A, IK-WB21A camera models, especially when running under admin/root account
- Updated: Memory and speed optimizations, especially for top load servers (60 and more cameras per server)
- Fixed: Video for Windows (ICM interface) codecs might appear unavailable for third party software (such as for example VirtualDub)
- Fixed: Vivotek 6000 series cameras might be unavailable in case of simultaneous concurrent connections to the camera
- Fixed: Log files could grow uncontrollably until truncated on application/service restart
- Updated: Added user name and password autorization on remote network shares used to store archive data (such as NAS)
- New: Added implementation for several TRENDnet and AirLink 101 camera models
- Fixed: LuxRiot DVR Client would not open shortcut with saved configuration
- New: Support for multiple client application instances through /InstanceNumber command line switch
- Fixed: Very high resolution video (5 megapixels e.g. Arecont Vision 5100 and higher) is downsampled before rendering on the screen to avoid problems with a wide variety of video adapters incapable to process high resolutions properly
- New: An option to resample/recompress video exported to external file or uploaded via FTP
- Fixed: PTZ preset management on Axis cameras (various models) with new firmware versions
- Fixed: Arecont camera brightness adjustment settings might get lost with server restart
- Fixed: Arecont camera might unexpectedly stop sending video with an error code 0×81060016 (Insufficient data buffers) logged into system event log, especially when DVR server’s CPU load is high
- Fixed: A workaround for a DirectX failure to show video on a secondary monitor (in DirectX rendering modes)
- Fixed: minor cosmetic changes and other updates
