Using Archive Backup Wizard
Archive Backup Wizard will guide you through the process of creating archive backup on hard/network drives or CD/DVD discs. Standalone Archive Viewer will be written on removable disc to allow viewing archives without LuxRiot DVR being installed.
Note that by default Archive Backup Wizard will try to use Nero Burning library for CD/DVD burning if available. Nero Burning ROM version 6 or 7 has to be installed. Another option to burn CD discs only is to use Windows IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service which is available only on Windows XP Pro SP1 or greater, Windows 2003 and Windows Vista.
This wizard can be run simultaneously with recording performed by LuxRiot DVR. However it is recommended to stop LuxRiot DVR to backup archives.
Features:
- Running simultaneously with LuxRiot DVR recording.
- Burning on removable discs or on HDD/NAS drives.
- Using Nero Burning ROM for burning on CD / DVD / HD DVD / Blue Ray (HD DVD and Blue Ray burning not tested yet) discs and Windows IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service for CD burning.
- Burning standalone archive playback viewer on removable dics.
- Allows to split backup archives on several removable discs (two options available).
- Allows to choose cameras and time range to backup.
- Allows to compress backuped archive by limiting maximum FPS.
