ComArt XeCap board video output support

Filed under: Change Log, ComArt Boards — alex @ 9:58 am

LuxRiot (version 1.1.18 and above) supports XeCap boards video output channels. Now it is possible to view all cameras simultaneously on both computer and analog monitors.
Usually there are two output channels on these boards. One is used for single channel output, another one for multiplexed channels output (depends on model). Different layouts can be applied for multiplexed channels.

  1. Q1: if i were switch off the PC (dvrclient), will the 2 TV output still alive?
am asking this is some design need only a DVRsystem and a simple multiplex viewer. so buying a 29″TV is cheap and simple to display all the cameras.

  2. A1: Unfortunatly, due to some ComArt XeCap boards limitation if you switch off your PC, multiplexed and single channel outputs will not be working on TV.

  3. Q: is there a way to set a specific camera as the default output? I want camera #13 to be on the monitor, and when watchdog resets the server the output defaults back to camera 1.

  4. A:We have checked your issue and we was unable to reproduce it. Could you please be a little bit more specific about this problem you describe? Maybe we haven’t understood it correctly?

  5. Set a camera other than one to be the on the output monitor, now shut the whole server down and restart it. The output automatically goes back to camera 1. I want to set the default to a camera I choose, not camera 1.
