Luxriot 1.1.18 will have support for any JPEG Compatible network cameras. This feature allows you to specify an URI (Unified Resource Identifier) to retrieve an image. This would make Luxriot compatible with any net camera out there that is capable of exporting the image in JPEG format.
This is a great addition. Every netcam I have used supports some type of image snapshot, trick is sometimes just finding the path.
This, in my opinion, will eliminate the need to half to wait for a Luxriot update to support new cameras. Other then video servers - which again all the
ones I’ve used have a url path to each image. The only updates that would really be needed are any for PTZ controlls.
Looking forward to this release.
